Naked City - Death of Princes - Internet Movie Rental - What is the Craze About
Gritty and realistic, this is one of television's best police dramas. Filmed on the streets of New York City, this ever-popular series puts a human face on crime, going beyond a simplistic portrayal of good vs. evil to delve into the complex personal dramas of the people involved. Filled with swift-moving action, the stories are often violent and tragic, but also contain their share of humor, absurdity and even fairy tale romance. Paul Burke stars as Detective Adam Flint, the young, handsome detective who manages to hold on to his ideals, and Horace McMahon is his crusty older boss, Lt. Mike Parker. Because of the critically-acclaimed series' outstanding reputation, the series attracted many top film and television actors for its guest-starring roles. Episodes: "Death of Princes" (Ep. 40, October 12, 1960) - A crooked detective (Eli Wallach) blackmails a cashier, a prizefighter (George Maharis) and a playboy into helping him steal the proceeds from a charity boxing match. Wow! I really loved the movie Naked City - Death of Princes. The movie is absolutely stunning with top-notch graphics and visuals while John McIntire deliver some award-winning performances in this movie.
I also think Nancy Malone was great! The visuals and graphics make for some very realistic on screen special-effects but that is the beauty of the movie. When the movie wants to be funny it is funny, the same is true for when the movie needs to deliver its scary aspects.
I think John McIntire and Nancy Malone worked wonderful in Naked City - Death of Princes. The great supporting cast includes John McIntire, Nancy Malone, Paul Burke, James Franciscus, Suzanne Storrs.

The Toy A unique,,one of a kind movie! Both Richard Pryor and Jackie Gleason has earned overwhelmingly positive reviews and is considered by many to be one of the best films of the year! Maybe that's what makes the movie so good. The great cast includes Richard Pryor, Jackie Gleason, Ned Beatty, Scott Schwartz, Teresa Ganzel. The movie moves on like a dream and end leaving you wanting for more.
If you love watching Richard Pryor or Jackie Gleason, you are deffinetly going to want to watch The Toy.
This well-packaged 1983 remake of the French comedy Le Jouet features two legendary actors in an unlikely pairing. Richard Pryor (Live on the Sunset Strip, Stir Crazy) plays a down on his luck writer who is talked into taking a job as a plaything for the spoiled rich kid of billionaire Jackie Gleason (The Hustler), who just can't communicate with his own son. Amidst a constant stream of abuse and slapstick adventures, Pryor manages to bring out the heart in both father and son and bring them closer together, as he fights to retain his own dignity. Director Richard Donner (Superman, Lethal Weapon) concentrates on the outlandish set pieces and wisely leaves the comic timing up to the two old pros, making The Toy an entertaining diversion. --Robert Lane
